Blockchain UniVRse Crypto Conference is an upcoming cryptocurrency/blockchain conference taking place entirely in virtual reality. Some of the biggest names in crypto gaming will be there. And you won’t even need to leave your house to attend.

This article will explain everything you need to know about Blockchain UniVRse, including when it will occur, who will be exhibiting, and how to attend.

Who is Organizing the Conference?

Blockchain UniVRse is being organized by Block Decentral, a VR community dedicated to cryptocurrency, blockchain, and other forms of decentralization technology. 

Block Decentral hosts a Crypto and Blockchain VR group that weeks weekly, and it is organizing this event to further expand awareness of the growing integration of blockchain and VR.

They will also be getting some assistance from Bits and Tokens.

When is Blockchain UniVRse Crypto Conference?

Blockchain UniVRse Crypto Conference will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. EDT on Saturday, August 17, 2019. 

How much will it cost?

This will be a free event!

The conference is opened up to the public for the moment, and people can sign up for a ticket. Anyone who gets a donation ticket will also receive one of the Blockdecentral Enjin tokens as a digital ticket.

How to attend Blockchain UniVRse

Blockchain UniVRse is being held in virtual reality, so there is no need to buy plane tickets, book a hotel room, or save back money to pay for meals.

The only thing you need to connect is a copy of Altspace VR software and either a VR headset or PC.

Installing AltSpace VR

If you have a Samsung Gear VR or Oculus headset, you can download Altspace from the official store of your device. If you have a Windows Mixed Reality or HTC Vive device, you can install Altspace VR using Steam.

If you have no headset and simply want to use your PC to attend the conference, install Altspace VR for Windows PC.

How to connect to Blockchain UniVRse

Once you’ve got Altspace installed on your VR Headset or PC, it’s simple to connect to Blockchain UniVRse Crypto Conference. Here is a step-by-step guide.

  1. Open a browser and navigate to the Blockchain UniVRse event page on AltSpace VR

2. Click the RSVP button

3. If you’ve not signed up before, you’ll get an error message telling you to login or sign up. Enter your name, choose a username and password, enter your country and date of birth, and push the green create account button.


4. You’ll get a message saying that you’re signed up and will be notified when the event is about to take place.


5. On the day of the event, go back to the event page. Where there previously was an RSVP button, there will now be an OPEN button instead. Click this button to open AltSpace and enter the event.

That’s all there is to signing up for and attending the conference. 

If you find that there is no OPEN button on the page, it may be because the event has been changed from private to public. If so, just search for Blockchain UniVRse within the event tab of the Altspace software.
